A team format, fast paced, high intensity racing experience that is easily understood and wildly entertaining.
Eight teams of horses and jockeys race against each other with each race being a standard sprint of 800m. There are 8 races and points are allocated for each race and one team is crowned the winner at each event. A series of these racing events is combined to form a Triple 8 Racing series with one team being crowned the series winner. The jockey with the most points is crowned the champion jockey and the fastest horse is crowned the champion horse.
About
Campbell + Campbell have been creating and building events since 2007. Originally a jack-of-all-trades agency working for a variety of private and corporate clients they jumped into organising horseracing events in 2013 and gradually made this their core focus. C + C are horseracing event specialists. The grand old stadiums, the long, chequered history of the sport, and the opportunities to innovate and create magic, have proven to be a good fit for the business. C + C built a new market for racing events by refusing to accept the status quo. By questioning the old ways while still embracing the history and traditions of the sport.
